Sgt Roy Hanning
Mechanic

Roy was born to Andrew and Olivia (Munter) Hanning, on Dec. 30, 1916, in Arlington, WA.

According to WWII Enlistment Records he enlisted on 11 August 1942 in Tacoma, WA.

He served as mechanic for Replacement Crew 26's "Southern Comfort".

In approx 1986 , he moved to the Long Beach Peninsula where he enjoyed retirement — traveling and pursing his hobby of painting.

Roy Hanning passed away at the age of 89 yrs old on 7 May 2006. He was survived by two nieces and five nephews.
