H. Constantine's name appears on General Order 25 dated
16 August 1945 - Battle Participation Award (as entitled
to a bronze service star for the Asiatic Pacfic Theater
Ribbon) placing him in the 39th Bomb Group; his name
also appears in the American Battle Monument Commission's
WWII Honor database as part of the 39th and lost on
the same date as Crew 11 - since this there were no
other crews of the group lost on this date it's surmised
that perhaps he was a passenger on the plane when they
were lost. |
